WEST CHESTER, Pa. — Do you love gardening but have a few questions? Are you looking for reliable science-based answers to your gardening problems? Chester County Master Gardeners are here to help. We answer questions about growing vegetables, fruits, ornamentals, native plants, invasive species, turf grass, plant identification, pruning, trees and insect and disease problems. All free of charge, via telephone, email or in person at the Penn State Extension office.
Our “hotline” will be staffed Tuesday through Thursday, beginning April 2. Please call our office before stopping in with your samples and/or questions. You can reach us at the Penn State Extension office at 610-696-3500 or can email your questions and photos detailing your issues to firstname.lastname@example.org at any time.
Penn State also offers free analysis of your “troubled” samples, for insects or plant pathology. You can bring your samples to the Penn State Extension office in the Chester County Government Services Building, 600 Westtown Road, West Chester.
