SEDALIA, Mo. — Angus enthusiasts exhibited 165 entries at the 2021 Missouri Angus Association Preview Show, June 13 in Sedalia, Mo. Cody Green, Prairie Grove, Ark., evaluated 136 females, 18 bulls, six steers and five cow-calf pairs and before naming the winners.
EXAR Forever Lady 98449 won the honors of grand champion female after being named senior champion. Alexis Koelling, Curryville, Mo., owns the September 2019 daughter of Conley Express 7211.
Hunters Blackbird 043 PBCC claimed reserve grand champion female honors after claiming early senior calf champion for Rance Wheeler, Paris, Mo. The September 2020 daughter of EXAR Blue Chip 1877B also won the title of champion Jackpot heifer.
Mead Final Choice T1793 won the title of grand champion bull. Juliette Mead, Barnett, Mo., owns the September 2019 son of Mead Final Choice L239. He first claimed senior champion.
AML Point Taken 020 was awarded reserve grand champion bull after claiming senior calf champion. AM Livestock, Springfield, Mo., owns the October 2020 son of Stevenson Turning Point.
Jace Pipkin, Republic, Mo., owns the grand champion cow-calf pair. Cherry Knoll Lady 1835 is an April 2018 daughter of PVF Insight 0129. A March 2021 son of KR Cadillac Ranch completes the winning pair.
Annaliese Mead, Barnett, Mo., owns the reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Mead Emma T002 is a December 2018 daughter of PVF Surveillance 4129. Her calf is a January 2021 bull sired by Stevenson Turning Point.
Hunters Primo 015 won grand champion steer. Tyler Meier, Jackson, Mo., owns the March 2020 son of Colburn Primo 5153. He also won champion Jackpot steer.
Matthew Price, Mountain View, Mo., showed the reserve grand champion steer. Checkerhill Primo 026 is the February 2020 son of Colburn Primo 5153.
