FORT WORTH, Texas — Angus enthusiasts led 137 entries at the 2020 Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show’s Roll of Victory (ROV) Angus Show, February 1 in Fort Worth, Texas. Chad Holtkamp, West Point, Iowa, evaluated the 105 females, 31 bulls and one cow-calf pair before he selected champions.
Silveiras Forbes 8088 claimed the grand champion bull title after first winning junior champion. Silveira Bros., Firebaugh, Calif., and Chris and Sharon Sankey, Council Grove, Kan., own the April 2018 son of Silveiras Style 9303.
BNWZ Dignity 8017 claimed reserve grand champion bull honors. The September 2018 son of PVF Insight 0129 is owned by Austin Nowatzke, Michigan City, Ind. He first won senior calf champion.
Seldom Rest Bardot 8021 claimed the grand champion female title for Sara Sullivan, Dunlap, Iowa. She is a February 2018 daughter of Silveiras S Sis GQ 2353 and first won junior champion.
Paige Lemenager, Hudson, Ill., led MLA Proven Queen 803 to reserve grand champion female honors. The April 2018 daughter of DDA Gemstone 1439 first won reserve junior champion.
SJH Roundtable of 9633 7100 won grand champion cow-calf pair for Kynan DeMoss, Bowie, Texas. She is the April 2017 daughter of S&R Roundtable J328. A June 2019 heifer calf sired by RWDE Big Style C205 completes the winning pair.
