BILLINGS, Mont. — Angus enthusiasts led 117 entries at the 2019 Northern International Livestock Exposition (NILE) Roll of Victory (ROV) Angus Show, October 18 in Billings, Mont. Clint Rusk, Stillwater, Okla., evaluated the 84 females, 29 bulls and four cow-calf pairs.
Lazy JB Edge 8745 claimed grand champion and junior champion bull honors. Lazy JB Angus, Montrose, Colo., owns the March 2018 son of EXAR Classen 1422B.
Trista Bates and Avery Bates, both of Manhattan, Mont.; and Voge Cattle Co., Wills Point, Texas, own the reserve grand champion bull. LLJ Touchdown 613 1644 is an April 2017 son of SCC First-N-Goal GAF 114 and first won senior champion.
BCC Beauty 78F captured grand champion female honors for Chael Roberts, Absarokee, Mont. The April 2018 daughter of PVF Insight 0129 first won junior champion.
Saige Martin, Hereford, Texas, owns the reserve grand champion female. Lazy JB Saras Dream 873, a March 2018 daughter of EXAR Classen 1422B, first won reserve junior champion.
MLC Lady Blanche E560 claimed grand champion cow-calf pair for Heather Worlein, Prineville, Ore. The cow is a March 2017 daughter of C&C McKinley 3000 EXAR. A March 2019 bull calf sired by Arcuri’s Resistol 1609 is at side.
Nate Peterson, Miles City, Mont., owns the reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Vermilion Lass 7245 is a February 2017 daughter of KR Joe Canada 5372. A February 2019 bull calf sired by Casino Bomber N33 completes the winning pair.
