WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. — On March 11th, the South Carolina Department of Agriculture (SCDA) in conjunction with the SC Specialty Crop Growers Association and South Carolina Farm to School, will host buyers from retail, food service, and wholesale markets at the Certified South Carolina Grower Buyer Meet Up. The event, organized by the SCDA’s marketing division is geared towards South Carolina fruit and vegetable growers and specialty producers interested in selling their products to retailers and foodservice entities.
Growers and producers will have the ability to set up booth space on a table provided and meet with buyers throughout the event. Exhibitors are encouraged to bring product lists, pictures, samples and any other information they would like to share with buyers. We invite all GAP certified growers and those interested in pursuing GAP to attend. We look forward to bringing producers and buyers together to further South Carolina’s agriculture industry.
This event is free to attend and snacks will be provided. For more information, please contact Katie Pfeiffer at Kpfeiffer@scda.sc.gov
