FARGO, N.D. — North Dakota State University’s Dickinson Research Extension Center (DREC) will host a cereal disease workshop June 20 from 9 a.m. to noon MDT.
The workshop will focus on identification, management and how cereal diseases affect the region, as well as disease issues associated with drought conditions.
It will include demonstrations from Andrew Friskop, NDSU Extension plant pathologist, and Ryan Buetow, NDSU area Extension cropping systems specialist.
Workshop topics are:
- Cereal disease overview
- Wheat and barley disease management
- Corn disease management
The workshop will be held on the western edge of Dickinson just north of I-94, exit 59, on the east side of the I-94 business loop.
