NEILLSVILLE, Wis. — The Central Wisconsin Forage Council (CWFC) will be hosting an Educational Meeting in Marshfield on March 18, 2020 at the Marshfield Ag Research Station, South Campus (2611 Yellowstone Drive). You do not need to be a CWFC member to attend. CEU’s are available.
Topics to be covered include:
- Profitable Methods of Maintaining Quality Forages in North Central Wisconsin – Jason Cavadini, MARS Assistant Superintendent
- Storage and Feeding of Alternative Winter Cereals and Grasses – Matt Akins, MARS Extension Specialist
- Research Information on Industrial Hemp – Jerry Clark, Agricultural Educator of Chippewa County
- Midwest Forage membership and research
- Impacts of the 2019 growing season – Richard Halopka, CCA, Agricultural Educator Clark County
The meeting is from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on March 18, 2020 at Marshfield Ag Research Station Auditorium, 2611 Yellowstone Drive, Marshfield, WI 54449. Cost is $5 and includes lunch and handouts. CEU’s are available.
