FT. PIERRE, S.D. — The Central Plains Dairy Foundation will hold an online and silent auction at the Central Plains Dairy Expo in Sioux Falls on March 24-25. You won’t want to miss this event or our new mascots, Holly and Harriett!
The Dairy Forward Charity Auction online bidding is open with a “Buy Now” option on select items. Featured items include wine and cheese baskets, framed art, concert tickets, hunting and fishing trips, tickets to sporting events, livestock supplies and equipment, and golf outings. You definitely won’t want to miss your chance to buy a life-size fiberglass Holstein or Jersey that you’ll never have to feed or care for!
The Central Plains Dairy Foundation’s 3rd Annual Dairy Forward Charity Auction will be located in the Premier Center throughout both days at Expo. Money raised helps the Central Plains Dairy Foundation support dairy scholarships and innovation grants in the region. This year, the Foundation is awarding $25,000 in scholarships across a five-state region through the Scholarship Grant program. The Foundation also received Dairy Innovation Grant requests totaling over $100,000. Dairy Innovation Grant recipients will be announced in April.
Sponsors of this year’s auction include Farm Credit Services of America, Kent Nutrition Group, Valley Queen Cheese, Anderson Chemical, Maxwell Strategies, Gruen-Wald Engineered Laminates, Agropur, Scherer Inc., Udder Tech, STgenetics, and many more!
The Dairy Forward Auction isn’t the only way to support the Foundation! A beer garden, sponsored by Kent Nutrition Group, will be in the Denny Sanford Premier Center during the Expo. Beer tickets may be purchased in advance by visiting CentralPlainsDairyFoundation.
The Central Plains Dairy Foundation is an independent 501(c)3 organization committed to investing in proactive programming to support the dairy industry along the I-29 corridor in South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, and Minnesota.
