AKRON, Colo. — Covid has caused many events to be postponed or canceled over the last year. Because of some lingering concerns and protocols, we decided to postpone our normal June Field Day to later in the year to give us a better chance at hosting a successful day. We are excited to co-host the field day this year in conjunction with the Colorado State University Variety Testing Program during their annual Sorghum Field Day in September.
We have not forgotten you, our customers, and are looking forward to seeing you later this year. Although it has been a long tradition to hold our field day around the timeframe of winter wheat maturity, we are excited that this year’s September date will let us highlight research related to summer crops and winter wheat rotations. Please be on the lookout for an upcoming announcement of a date for the 2021 Central Great Plains Research Station Field Day.
