MORRISVILLE, N.Y. — Looking to eat local and shop small this year? On December 8th, Madison County products will be showcased at the First Annual Celebrate Madison Event.
Come and show support to local farmers and vendors on December 8th, 2018 in the Ag Center of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison County. Madison County farms and families will display their goods to help make your holiday celebrations extra special this year. Celebrate Madison: Holiday Edition is a free, kid friendly event where locals can enjoy a wide variety of shopping. Grab your carrots, meats, squashes, spirits and pies to host the best local holiday dinner yet! Shop local gifts such as homemade fudges, beeswax candles and more! You can even pre-order items for the holidays.
Also, Eat Smart New York will be doing a cooking demo for kids to learn how to make healthy snacks for their holidays this year! They can jump right in and help stir and measure. Santa will be visiting, so bring your camera to snag a free photo. So swing by, grab a cup of complimentary coffee, and visit neighbors while you shop products that were only created or grown in Madison County!
