SACRAMENTO — CDFA’s Office of Environmental Farming and Innovation (OEFI) is accepting public comments on its draft Request for Grant Applications (RGAs) for the Alternative Manure Management Program (AMMP) and Dairy Digester Research and Development Program (DDRDP).
These programs provide financial assistance for the installation of dairy digesters and non-digester manure management practices on dairy and livestock operations in California, which will result in reduced greenhouse gas emissions. CDFA was allocated $32 million for Livestock Methane Reduction in the Budget Act of 2021.
Public comments on the draft RGAs for AMMP and DDRDP will be accepted through December 21, 2021, 5 PM. Comments regarding the draft guidelines must be submitted to the specific email address noted on each draft document available on the webpages listed below.
The draft RGAs establish parameters by which competitive grant applications for the AMMP and DDRDP must be submitted and evaluated. The draft RGAs can be found on the following webpages under CDFA OEFI:

A stakeholder workshop is scheduled to update the public on the programs and to receive comments and suggestions for the draft guidelines. This workshop will be held as a webinar on the date provided below:
