KINGSTON, N.Y. — We know it’s still chilly outside, but start dreaming. Luscious berries, evergreens, nut trees, and native flowering shrubs, there’s something for everyone in this year’s seedling sale. New this year we are offering edible fruit packs with four blueberries, two blackberries, two red raspberries and two June-bearing Honeoye strawberries! This pack of 10 plants will create wonderful fruit garden. We also have extra June bearing strawberries and blueberry pairs to add to your fruit desires, along with the popular Red Haven peach tree. Since the peach trees are self-fertile, you need only one!
Our popular prepacks are back with the all native flowering shrubs, evergreen trees (grow your own Christmas trees) and native nut trees. That’s ten to a pack with five different species in each.
The deadline for orders is March 15, but act now so you won’t be disappointed. Pick up is April 29 and 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and May 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the red mini-barn behind the office at 232 Plaza Road in Kingston. You’ll be able to select your date and time during check-out.
