RENSSELAER CO., N.Y. — Grace Huffam of Troy and daughter of Mark and CharlieAnne Huffam was selected as the 2022 4-H Lohnes Award recipient.
As a well-rounded 4-H member, Grace has been involved in a wide variety of 4-H program areas with a primary focus on the equine program. She is a member of the Stablemates 4-H Club and past member of the 4-H Teen Exchange. Over the years, Grace has served in a variety of officer roles in the Stablemates Club and most recently as the President. Grace has represented the county and region numerous times at the New York State 4-H Horse Bowl and Horse Communications Contests, placing 7th this year in the Horse Communications contest at Cornell University. Throughout her 4-H career, Grace has been a mainstay helping and participating in many 4-H horse events, winning many Championships. Grace will be graduating from the Brunswick Central High School in June and is looking forward to college in the fall.
