MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County will hold its Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner at The Graham Skea Lodge, Stonyford Golf Course, Hamptonburgh. The “Friend of Extension Award” will be presented to Derrik Wynkoop, President & CEO of Walden Savings Bank for their continued support and commitment to the programs of Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County and the valuable hours of educational services helping to provide many opportunities to the residents of Orange County.
The “Volunteer of the Year Award” will be presented to Gary Johnson, Johnson Farm, in Chester. The award is presented to an individual who demonstrates support for Cornell Cooperative Extension and its mission through many hours of volunteering and participation in programs/activities to enhance the opportunities available for the youth and adults of Orange County.
The business meeting agenda includes the election of the 2023 Board of Directors.
The slate of candidates includes Gordon Dean, Edwin A. Estrada, Amy Minutolo, all from Middletown, Jill Maire Rothchild or Port Jervis and Kaitlynn Lancellotti of Pine Bush.
