ONEIDA CO., N.Y. — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County (CCE) is looking for a talented and conscientious volunteer board member to help lead and strengthen our programs.
If you are an Oneida County resident with agriculture, legal, finance, youth development or STEM experience, who can contribute your time, expertise, and leadership one evening per month, consider becoming part of the CCE board of directors. Please e-mail your resume to Mary Beth McEwen (firstname.lastname@example.org), by June 15, 2019.
The mission of CCE is to improve the lives of individuals and communities through the practical application of objective, up-to-date, research-based knowledge. As an extension of Cornell University, we deliver accessible lifelong learning opportunities to audiences that include children, youth, child care providers, landowners, farm and business operators, and local government officials. Through our programs we help people and families achieve their greatest potential and lead healthy, safe and rewarding lives; we contribute to the strength of our economy; and we encourage responsible stewardship of the environment. We believe that our success depends on being committed to excellence, accountable for results, and responsive to emerging needs.
