MORRISVILLE, N.Y. — Cornell Cooperative Extension’s AgBC is excited to announce NY FarmNet establishing office hours to be held at our Agricultural Business Center starting on July 12, 2022. The representative of NY FarmNet will be here every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 10 am to 12 pm. Appointments are recommended but not required.
NY FarmNet offers a wide range of services that are at no cost to you and are confidential as well as unbiased. NY FarmNet takes a proactive approach in working with farm families to prevent future crises and overcome challenges facing the family and business. Their personal and financial consultants work with farm families in the privacy of our offices here at CCE Madison utilizing the brand new AgBC. Whatever your question or concern, they can help you clarify your problem, brainstorm solutions, and develop a plan of action.
Their services include financial analysis and decision making, business planning, family business management, retirement and estate planning, business transfers, and personal well-being.
The AgBC Center leverages existing resources and expertise for agricultural producers and creates a comprehensive ‘one stop shop’ that supports business operations and expansions through education and empowerment while reducing barriers to success. The Center does include shared workspace with computers, high speed broadband; business and graphic design software; video and audio space for creating web-based messaging and broadcasts; digital templates for SOP’s; and a resource of best practices for operations and regulations. Tools are complimented by continued programming and one-on-one meetings.
