WASHINGTON CO., N.Y. — Linda S. Law-Saunders, Family & Consumer Sciences/Ag & Food Systems Educator of Cornell Cooperative Extension -Washington County New York, was honored recently at the National Extension Association for Family & Consumer Sciences (NEAFCS) 85th Annual Session, whose theme was “Nurturing the Richness of Lifelong Learning.”
Linda received the NEAFCS Distinguished Service Award at the conference held September 30- October 3, 2019 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. In receiving the award, Law-Saunders was recognized for embracing her role as a Cornell Cooperative Extension Family and Consumer Sciences Educator. She has made connections with local businesses, organizations, schools, and colleagues in other counties and states.
The NEAFCS Distinguished Service Award is the highest award presented by the National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences and is sponsored by the NEAFCS awards fund. The award recognizes members for leadership, outstanding program efforts and personal and professional development. Linda Law-Saunders’ commitment to meeting the needs of individual, families and communities is exemplary.
