QUEENSTOWN, Md. — Become a Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) at any time! The Mid-Atlantic Certified Crop Adviser test is now available by an online proctor. You can register to become a CCA any day. Once you register you have 60 days to take the online exam from your home or office.
To become a CCA in the Mid-Atlantic region – Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia, and West Virginia – one must pass the International CCA Exam ($260) and the Mid Atlantic CCA Exam ($145). The International CCA Exam is also available online at any time. The exams are administered via internet-based testing with a remote proctor.
Obtaining your CCA certificate benchmarks your professionalism and endorses your understanding of agronomic practices. This voluntary certificate provides value to your commitment, education, expertise, and experiences. Bi-annually CCA’s continue their education by obtaining 30 hours of new and upcoming agronomic practices.
“I always knew I wanted to be a resource for farmers. By obtaining my CCA certification out of college, I built a strong resume coupled with my professional experience to help me stand out professionally while appying for a job to serve farmers.” says local CCA, Matt Farace working with Delcarm.
