ST. PAUL — The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) LEAP (Leadership – Education – Advocacy – Promotion) Conference will be held January 26-27 at Treasure Island Resort and Casino near Red Wing. The conference is designed to provide leadership and advocacy training for all Farm Bureau members.
Keynote Speaker: Jolene Brown
Jolene Brown’s presentation entitled “It’s a Jungle Out There,” will cover regulations, traceability, labor concerns, worker and food safety, competitive markets and more. She’ll discuss how it’s time we blaze a new trail because the pace, the people, the process and the products for agriculture have all changed. During this fun-filled, eye-opening presentation, attendees will discover today’s top influencers on our customers, learn the value of what farmer’s do in the eye of the purchaser, not the farmer and will include lots of humor and real-life stories.
Jolene is known as a champion for agriculture and has received the Legend of the Speaking Profession award from her peers in the speaking profession. She is a co-owner and active partner on their Eastern Iowa corn and soybean farm.
The conference will kick off with a district social hour and an opening address from Jolene Brown.
