MADISON, Wis. (PRNewswire) — Brennan’s Cellars to open in former Brennan’s Market location at 8210 Watts Rd, Madison in early December under new ownership. Brennan’s Cellars will stock the best of Brennan’s, including Wisconsin cheese, Chin Drippin’ fruit, specialty food, wine & micro-beer, along with a new emphasis on meats, deli and prepared food.

This is truly a passion project for new owner, Tim Mulcahy. “I’ve worked at Brennan’s most of my life and wasn’t ready to give it up. After speaking with thousands of customers over the summer, it seemed that Madisonians weren’t ready to let it go either. It’s been an intense couple of months bringing Brennan’s back to life. We can’t wait to open and welcome Madison back,” said Mulcahy.

Mulcahy has assembled a team of former Brennan’s Market managers and buyers to open Brennan’s Cellars and continue to source top notch products from right here in Wisconsin and around the country and the world. Mulcahy said, “We are working hard to bring back all the favorites. We also want to acknowledge today’s busy lifestyles and are putting a much greater emphasis on our meat/deli area, specifically prepared foods. We will have delicious, high quality options to-go and have added new in-store seating.”

  • Brennan’s Cellars will continue the holiday gift program. Wisconsin Cheese boxes available both in-store and on-line. Gift Baskets will be available in-store.
  • Brennan’s Cellars will have favorites like Sweet N’ Hot Pepper Relish, Fresh Farmer Basil Cheese, Chin Drippin’ Idaho Peaches (when in season) and so much more.
  • Brennan’s Cellars will continue the philosophy of “try before you buy” and offer a fun sampling program.

Brennan’s Cellars, LLC: Brennan’s Cellars is a new locally-owned community market opening on Madison’s far west side specializing in Wisconsin Cheese, Chin Drippin’ Fruit, specialty food, wine, microbeer, meats, deli and prepared foods. Brennan’s Cellars will build on all the best things about its predecessor, Brennan’s Market to bring Madisonians a unique, fun and high-quality shopping experience. BrennansMarket.com
