BOONE, Iowa — The Boone County Cattlemen’s 2018 Banquet will be held on Tuesday, March 6 at TK’s Event Center in Boone at 1805 Mamie Eisenhower Avenue. A social hour will begin at 5:30 pm and be followed by dinner at 6:00. Attendees will be enjoying a rib-eye steak dinner including a salad, potato and beverage.
This banquet will provide the Cattlemen with the opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of their past year and host the annual trophy auction for the Boone County Fair Beef Show. Board members will also be elected at this event.
Cattlemen’s Board President, Jeff Erb, states “Attending this event is a great way to show your support of our local beef producers. We hope you can join us for a good meal and a fun time at TK’s Event Center on March 6th.” In case of inclement weather, the banquet will be postponed to March 8th at the same time and place.
2018 banquet tickets are $12 each and may be purchased from directors of the Boone County Cattlemen’s Association: Jim Anderson, Jeff Erb, Dave Hein and Dave Patrick, of Boone; Rick Bengtson of Boxholm; Chris Jones, Greg Savits and Jeff Paulson of Ogden; and Scott Grubbs of Perry. Tickets may also be purchased at the Boone County ISU Extension Office located at 1327 SE Marshall Street in Boone or at the door on March 6.
