WATERLOO, Iowa — Black Hawk County Fall Garden Symposium is Saturday, November 6 in Waterloo. This event is for anyone who enjoys gardening and is hosted by the Black Hawk County Master Gardeners.
Doors open at 8AM, with speakers from 9AM – 2:30PM.
Speakers for the day are: Wanda Lunn from Iowa Regional Lily Society; Jessica Peel-Austin, Museum Program Manager at Brucemore Estates; Kenny Slocum, Naturalist & Resource Manager at the Clayton County Conservation Oak Savanna Restoration; and Aaron Steil, ISU Consumer Horticulture Specialist.
Enjoy a vendor mall and live music from Beauty and the Beat, 12 – 2:30PM in the coffee shop.
Pre-registration is required and is just $30. It includes coffee, lunch, entertainment and handouts.
The Garden Symposium will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1301 Kimball Ave, Waterloo.
