TOPEKA, Kan. — CattleFax Chief Executive Officer Randy Blach will talk about what predicted larger beef supplies in 2019, combined with expected record pork and poultry production, will mean for cattle prices during his presentation November 30 at the KLA Convention. His appearance during the Friday breakfast is sponsored by Elanco.
Blach will forecast how much of this domestic protein production will be exported. Much of that could depend on his outlook for the strength of the domestic and global economies. Blach’s answers to these and other questions will help KLA members and guests strategically position their businesses for next year and beyond.
To hear Blach’s cattle and beef market outlook, plan to attend the convention. Further details on the program and registration are available here. Save on the cost of attending by completing a registration form and returning it to the KLA office by November 16.
Rooms for the KLA Convention can be reserved by calling the Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview at (800) 325-0720, Fairfield Inn & Suites at (316) 201-1400 or Hotel at Waterwalk at (316) 263-1061.
