Berrien County 4-H Market Animal workshop

Berrien County 4-H program presents Advanced SOLD!!

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. — The Berrien County 4-H program presents Advanced SOLD!! Making the Most out of your Market Animal Project workshop. Advanced SOLD!! Making the Most out of your Market Animal Project workshop is designed to assist youth with getting ready for their local Market Animal Auction. Grow the potential profit of your 4-H market animal projects through a variety of marketing and communication strategies that will give you a leg up on the competition. Youth will learn how to create a buyer’s letter, creating a good thank you, and how to avoid a communication catastrophe. Open to youth ages 9 – 19 years of age. There is no cost to the workshop. Resources and materials will be provided.

The first workshop session will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Niles District Library in Niles, MI. The second workshop session will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Niles District Library in Niles, MI. Youth must pre-register for the workshop either by calling the Berrien County MSU Extension office at 269-927-5674 or online at https://events.anr.msu.edu/Berrien4HSoldAdvanced/. Deadline to register is June 20, 2019. The workshop is limited to 25 youth.
