CONWAY, S.C. — A Bermuda Hay Production Workshopis scheduled for Monday, March 9, 2020 beginning at 9:30 a.m. and lasting until 2:30 p.m. at the Horry County Extension Service Office located at 1949 Industrial Park Road in Conway, SC. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. There is a non-refundable fee of $10.00, which covers course material, refreshments, and lunch. Topics covered are: Pre-emergence weed control, Post-emergence weed control, Sprayer Calibration, Economics of hay production, Coastal vs. Tifton 85 fertilization strategies, Managing summer and winter annuals for hay production, Net wrap vs. string wrap hay storage, and benefits of encapsulated fertilizer.
