MONTOUR FALLS, N.Y. — This three-part series will be held at Stillman’s Greenhouse 251 NY-14, Montour Falls, NY 14865 in Montour Falls. All three workshops are from 6:00pm-7:30pm.
March 8th– What is pH? Topics include basic soil testing options, sending a sample, reading your soil test, results and how to you raise or lower your pH.
March 15th– Manure, Compost, Leaf Mulch Wood chips what do I use? Learn about all your soil amendments like feather meal, blood meal, greensand, triple phosphate, what do they all do?
March 22nd- Do Your Own Soil Testing, What are crop rotations and why do cover crops matter? Harvesting, yield per row foot, companion planting and much more!
