GREENWICH, N.Y. — Are you thinking about growing and selling agricultural products? Did you start farming in 2017 and need some more help? This daylong workshop will help you better understand various aspects of starting a farm. From attending, you will gain:
• Ideas on where to get financing to start a farm
• An understanding of what to look for when assessing potential farm properties
• Information on how to successfully market and sell products
• A better understanding of agricultural regulations.
This workshop will be held on Saturday, March 17 from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Washington County Fairgrounds Administrative Building, 392 Old Schuylerville Rd, Greenwich, NY 12834. The cost is $40 for the first person, $60 for two people. The registration fee includes food and materials.
