HARDEE COUNTY, Fla. — The UF/IFAS Extension Hardee County invites you to participate of our Beginning Beekeeper Workshop. This educational opportunity will be held on February 1st, 2022 at the UF/IFAS Extension Hardee County office located at 507 Civic Center Drive, Wauchula FL 33813 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
This program will provide participants with essential information to starting their own backyard apiary. We will also be providing essential information on bee biology, state regulations, live bee demonstrations and personal protective equipment use, among other topics. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Registration costs are: $15.00 per person and pre-registration is required by January 25th, 2022.
