BANGOR, Maine — University of Maine Cooperative Extension workshop on raising pigs will be held May 10, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m., at the UMaine Extension Penobscot County office, 307 Maine Ave., Bangor.
Extension assistant professor and livestock specialist Colt Knight will discuss considerations for purchasing pigs, health and nutrition needs, housing and management practices for pasturing.
