LOUISBURG, N.C. — Livestock producers: including poultry, mark your calendars for Friday Feb. 10, for an all-day meat symposium for beginner and experienced meat producers, beginning at 8:30 am, at the Franklin County Extension Center, 103 S. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, The meeting is Part 2 of the Beef Producers Advanced Series offered by the N.C. Cooperative Extension team of agents, Paul Gonzalez, of Sampson County, and Martha Mobley, of Franklin County. Learn from state experts and experienced meat producers on various cuts of meat, mandatory meat inspections, a producer panel, and various ways of meat marketing, even new ways to market! A $40 fee to attend includes lunch and refreshments.
