BLACK RIVER, N.Y. — Beef Quality Assurance is a nationwide certification program to help ensure a safe, wholesome and quality beef product for consumers. Topics covered include cattle nutrition, handling, and vaccine protocols. Regardless if you are just beginning with beef or are a long time producer this BQA workshop will help you sharpen your animal husbandry skills.
This program will be offered at Center Dale Farm at 28206 State Route 126 Black River, NY 13612 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm on Monday, June 17th.
The cost to attend this event is $15.00 a person or $25.00 a farm, a BQA manual is included with registration (one per each farm/family). Please bring your own chair with you and dinner is included. Registration is required so that enough materials and dinner are available. Registration is due by June 13, 2019.
