STOCKTON, Mo. — The Barton County MU Extension Center and Council will be having a workshop discussing beef cattle reproduction management on March 20th at the Barton County MU Extension Center, 801 East 12th Street, Lamar, MO 64759. The class will begin at 6:30 p. m. and the speakers will be Patrick Davis, Cedar County MU Extension Regional Livestock Specialist, and Andy McCorkill, Dallas County MU Extension Regional Livestock Specialist.
Topics covered will consist of:
- Beef cattle artificial insemination, estrous sychronization and reproductive management
- Selection of a calving season
- Replacement heifer and bull development
Cost of the workshop is $15 per person and registration along with payment for the workshop is due to the Barton County MU Extension Center (801 East 12th Street, Lamar, MO 64759) by March 17th.
