TOWANDA, Pa. — Regenerating your soils, increasing your profits and improving your streams. Join us this year as we hear from Dr. Allen Williams. Williams is a long time grazier and will show you how to increase yield, and therefore number of grazing days, by connecting healthy soils to your profit.
Williams is a sixth-generation family farmer and founding partner of Soil Health Consultants, LLC, Grass Fed Insights, LLC, and a partner in Joyce Farms, Inc. Williams pioneered many of the early adaptive grazing protocols and forage finishing techniques and has spent the last 15 years refining those.
Williams specializes in whole farm and ranch planning based on the concept of regenerative agriculture. His approach creates significant “value add” and prepares the landowner for multiple enterprise/revenue stream opportunities that stack enterprises and acres.
Also hear from Dr. John Tooker, Penn State faculty, as he discusses building natural predator populations to control pest insects in crop fields. Learn about the Bradford County Conservation District Air Seeder Program and how it worked in 2018.
