LANSING — Join the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, in partnership with Michigan State University Extension and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Wildlife Services, for a discussion on deer and cattle health in northeastern Michigan.
These agencies want to ensure that the groups most impacted by bovine tuberculosis are aware of the latest information and have an opportunity to discuss how we can work together to improve our communities in the face of bovine TB.
May’s Herd & Hunter Bovine TB Connections meetings will feature Phil Durst from MSU Extension, presenting on deer and cattle gut health and the nutritional needs of both species. In addition, the DNR, MDARD and USDA Wildlife Services will provide updates on programs and activities that affect the bovine TB area.
