GREENSBORO, N.C. — Do you own or manage a pond, storm water pond, or lake? Do you have problems with unwanted aquatic vegetation? Do you know the correct plants to put around your pond? Can you correctly identify beneficial aquatic plants? Do you know how to apply aquatic herbicides or need pesticide applicator continuing education credit? Are your fish healthy? Do you have the correct types, sizes, and numbers of fish? This workshop is designed to help you answer “Yes!” to these questions. Our specialists will speak on topics such as; Aquatic Weed Control, Aquatic Weed Identification, the NC AWC Program, Developing and General Management of Fish Ponds, and Pond Regulations and Guidelines for Construction.
This workshop had been approved for 3.5 credit hours of A, N, D, and X pesticide continuing education by NCDA&CS. Your $25 registration fee includes your handouts, snack, and lunch. Please bring any aquatic plant samples you may have for positive identification and control suggestions.
