CENTENNIAL, Colo. — The Colorado Governors Fellowship is a nine-month intensive bipartisan program, supported by all living Governors, with the goal to inspire and prepare leaders from the private and nonprofit sector to apply their skills to the public sector.
“This program is a great opportunity to meet movers and shakers from across the state and discuss important issues that shape the future of Colorado,” says CFB’s own Chad Vorthmann, a current fellow in the program. “It’s important that rural issues and the agriculture industry be represented in great programs like this.”
The Fellowship Program aims to elevate the brand of government across Colorado by developing leaders who want to use their skills and experience in government. In a state that is moving more and more towards issues held dear by the urban corridor, it’s more important now than ever that rural and agricultural leaders get involved. Agriculture is one of Colorado’s top industries, and it is important that leaders who can tell that story and represent the industry take part in these opportunities.
The application deadline is March 15.
