BOURBONNAIS, Ill. — Are you raising sheep and/or goats? You are invited to the Annual Sheep & Goat workshop being held at University of Illinois Extension Office; 1650 Commerce Drive; Bourbonnais, IL 60914.
Featured topics include grazing management, nutrition, farmer experiences, and more. Speakers will include Prof. Richard Browning (geneticist, Animal Science Department, Tennessee State University). He will talk on genetic evaluation of female sheep and goat performance, and keeping records. There will be a panelist group that will lead a discussion at the end of the day to discuss any and every aspect of sheep and goat production. . Grazers will have an opportunity to network and useful resources will be given out.
There is a $25 cost to attend (includes lunch & handouts). Registration is requested by January 23, 2019.
