Angus Champions named at the Cattlemen’s Congress Junior Show

295 entries were submitted at the 2022 Cattlemen’s Congress Show’s Junior Angus Show

The American Angus Association is the nation’s largest beef breed organization, serving more than 25,000 members across the United States, Canada and several other countries. OKLAHOMA CITY — Junior Angus members led 295 entries at the 2022 Cattlemen’s Congress Show’s Junior Angus Show, Thursday, Jan. 6 in Oklahoma City, Okla. Andy Higgins, Auburntown, Tenn., evaluated the females.

Houston Ferree, Sullivan, Ind., owns the grand champion female. SSF Lady 5030 is a May 2020 daughter of Conley Express 7211 and first won intermediate champion.

Carlee Clark, Muldrow, Okla., claimed reserve grand champion female. Ellies Southern Belle 2112 is an April 2021 daughter of Colburn Primo 5153 and first won junior calf champion—division 1.
