FARGO, N.D. — The AEA invites you to join us for the 32nd Annual AEA Convention in Fargo, North Dakota in September. All those interested in the emu industry are welcome to attend.
2022 AEA Convention – September 15-17

The 2022 convention hotel will be The ClubHouse Hotel & Suites in Fargo, North Dakota. There is a complimentary shuttle to the airport 6 miles away. As part of the guest room rate, the hotel will provide a complimentary breakfast for registered hotel guests each morning. On Thursday evening, September 15th, from 4:30 – 6:00 pm the hotel will host a Managers Reception (Happy Hour). Convention guest room rates, “including tax”, are approximately – $138.13 weekdays (Sun–Thurs nights) and $149.18 weekends (Fri & Sat nights).
State Presidents & CBMs will meet on Thursday afternoon, September 15. An opening session is planned for Thursday evening at 7:30 pm (topic yet to be determined). A Welcome Night is scheduled for Friday night. A Banquet with awards and a Live Auction is scheduled for Saturday night.
The days will be full on Friday and Saturday with the convention officially ending after the Banquet on Saturday evening.
A room will be available to meet on Sunday morning for those with a later flight. Several board members will be there, too.
Topics to be covered include – Emu husbandry; Hatching Hints; Emu Oil Properties; AlphaGal Allergy; Cooking Demonstration; and sessions by Maria Minnaar, author of the “Emu Farmers Handbook I&II”.
