OLYMPIA, Wash. — All wheat stored in all positions on March 1, 2022 totaled 36.7 million bushels in Idaho, down from 53.3 million bushels a year ago. Off-farm stocks were down 32 percent, while on-farm stocks were down 31 percent compared to the previous year. In Oregon, wheat stored in all positions totaled 13.8 million bushels, down from 29.1 million bushels a year ago. Off-farm stocks were down 52 percent, while on-farm stocks were down 56 percent compared to the previous year. In Washington, wheat stored in all positions totaled 56.6 million bushels, down from 99.5 million bushels a year ago. Off-farm stocks were down 45 percent, while on-farm stocks were down 13 percent compared to the previous year. Nationally, wheat stored in all positions totaled 1.02 billion bushels, down from 1.31 billion bushels a year ago. Off-farm stocks were down 17 percent, while on-farm stocks were down 39 percent compared to the previous year.
Barley stocks in all positions on March 1, 2022 totaled 26.9 million bushels in Idaho, down from 34.3 million bushels a year ago. Off-farm stocks were down 8 percent, while on-farm stocks were down 36 percent compared to the previous year. In Oregon, barley stored in all positions totaled 442,000 bushels, down from 682,000 bushels a year ago. In Washington, barley stored in all positions totaled 2.04 million bushels, down from 5.99 million bushels a year ago. Off-farm stocks were down 69 percent, while on-farm stocks were down 53 percent compared to the previous year. Nationally, barley stored in all positions totaled 72.6 million bushels, down from 120 million bushels a year ago. Off-farm stocks were down 27 percent, while on-farm stocks were down 55 percent compared to the previous year.
Oats stored in Off-farm locations in Idaho on March 1, 2022 were down 61 percent from the previous year. In
Washington, stocks in all positions totaled 32,000 bushels. Oats stored in off-farm locations totaled 32,000 bushels.
Nationally, oats stored in all positions totaled 43.0 million bushels, down from 51.5 million bushels a year ago. Off-farm stocks were down 15 percent, while on-farm stocks were down 20 percent compared to the previous year.
Corn stored in off-farm locations in Oregon totaled 1.5 million bushels on March 1, 2022. In Washington, corn stored in off-farm location totaled 7.49 million bushels, down 34 percent from the previous year. Nationally, corn stored in all positions totaled 7.85 billion bushels, up from 7.70 billion bushels a year ago. Off-farm stocks were up 3 percent, while on-farm stocks were up 1 percent compared to the previous year.
