WASHINGTON — The American Lamb Board (ALB) invites sheep producers and industry partners to spread the word about the fall consumer Tailgate Adventures Campaign. The campaign encourages consumers to include American Lamb in their tailgate festivities. The tailgate campaign includes:
- A social media contest designed to increase Instagram followers and engagement. To enter, consumers must follow ALB’s page, repost the contest to their story and share a photo of their tailgate using #AmericanLambTailgate. All participants will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize package consisting of a portable grill, custom cooler and American Lamb.
- Tailgate-friendly recipes shared on social media by ALB’s Lambassadors. These food influencer bloggers have created fan favorites such as American Lamb Jalapeno Poppers and Shredded Lamb Sliders with Pepper Relish.
- A partnership with @Tailgatingchallenge to promote the ALB tailgate contest on Instagram and in their newsletter to 45,000 consumers.
- Tailgate parties – 10 consumers were selected through an essay submission contest to host fall tailgate parties with American Lamb party packs that included 5 pounds of ground American Lamb. We look forward to seeing their party pics on social media!
