ESTHERVILLE, Iowa — Agronomy in the Field is a multi-session workshop offered to women landowners, farmers, conservationists and other women who are interested in learning more about agronomy.
This summer, a shortened series of the workshops will be held at Southwest Corner of N32/410th Ave and A17/130th Street. Best way to get there is take A32 north off of HWY 9 West. The sessions will be June 25, July 9th and 23rd, August 13th and 27th, and September 17th. The sessions will be from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
The goals of the series are to strengthen agronomic skills for women, resulting in better decision-making and understanding of inputs for crop production, as well as increased knowledge of various conservation practices and confidence in communication with their spouse, farming partner, ag retailer or tenant.
