PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas — Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) 2016 AgField Day will be held April 28-29, 2017 on the main campus. Activities start on Friday, April 28th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ending on Saturday, April 29th.
Agricultural Field Day is a major annual event that originated as Goat Field Day and later combined activities with another major event and together became known as Agricultural Field Day. The program focuses on our flagship International Goat Research Center horticulture and other types of farming.
The Agricultural Field Day is a family-friendly celebration of the programs and innovative research in the College of Agricultural and Human Sciences. We welcome the community to raise awareness about our farm activities and attend informative workshops intended for local farmers and producers.

• Small Ruminant
• Horticulture
• Home and Commercial Vegetable Production
The Ag Field Day workshops will be held in the Carden-Waller Cooperative Extension building and the Governor Bill and Vara Daniel Farm.
