MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — As part of its annual customer appreciation events, AgChoice Farm Credit donated a total of $1,350 to nine organizations across Pa. with ties to agriculture.
“We believe the future of Pennsylvania agriculture is a bright one,” said Darrell Curtis, AgChoice president and CEO. “These donations are an investment in that future with our valued community partners, and just one example of how AgChoice employees contribute to their local communities.”
AgChoice branch teams donated $150 to each of the following organizations:
- Juniata County Dairy Promotion (AgChoice’s Seven Mountains (Lewistown) branch)
- Franklin Fall Farm Fun Fest (AgChoice’s Cumberland Valley (Chambersburg) branch)
- Tioga County 4-H Program (AgChoice’s Endless Mountains (Towanda) branch)
- Meyersdale FFA (AgChoice’s Martinsburg branch)
- Pennsylvania Friends of Agriculture Foundation (AgChoice’s Butler branch)
- 4-H Clubs of York County (AgChoice’s York branch)
- Mercer County Dairy Promotion (AgChoice’s Meadville branch)
- Union County 4-H (AgChoice’s Susquehanna Valley (Lewisburg) branch)
- Fayette County Community Action Agency (New Stanton branch)
AgChoice employees and directors presented the donations during each branch’s annual customer appreciation event. Over 3,800 customer-owners, community members and their families enjoyed complimentary meals, door prizes and various activities such as kiddie tractor pulls, bounce houses and face painting at the events, which were held throughout the summer and early fall.
