AgChoice announces board election results

AgChoice Farm Credit an Agricultural Credit Association with $1.8 billion in gross loan assets

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — AgChoice Farm Credit, the state’s largest agricultural lender, announces the results of its recent Board of Directors election and annual committee leadership appointments.

An AgChoice customer-owner since 1985, members voted the incumbent Charles Ulmer to At-Large, Seat 1. Ulmer operates a dairy and crop farm in Lycoming county with his wife, Bonnie.

Richard Shuman won the At-Large Seat 2 and is new to the board. Shuman is an AgChoice customer-owner since 1994 with a grain and beef operation in Columbia County.

“We are privileged to work with an outstanding Board of Directors who are committed to our Shared Purpose statement of inspiring growth in our families, businesses and rural communities,” said Darrell Curtis, AgChoice president and CEO. “Under our Board’s leadership, we look forward to continued growth in 2018, helping our customer-owners achieve their dreams.”

AgChoice committee leadership and members assigned for 2017 are as follows.

The Executive and Compensation Committee:

  • Shawn Wolfinger (Coudersport) – Board Chair
  • Brandon Weary (Newville) – Board Vice Chair
  • Donald Cotner (Danville)
  • William Jackson (New Salem)

Audit Committee:

  • Christine Waddell (Townville) – Chair
  • Richard Allen (Smock)
  • Kevin Grim (Dover)
  • Larry Seibert (Lewisburg)

Governance Committee:

  • Charles Ulmer, Jr. (Cogan Station) – Chair
  • Samuel BowerCraft (New Cumberland)
  • Richard Shuman (Bloomsburg)
  • Dennis Spangler (New Berlin)
