EMMETSBURG, Iowa — AG PROPERTY SOLUTIONS (APS) announced it has entered into an agreement with Agrimesh Technologies (Agrimesh), a Canadian livestock production and technology equipment provider, to distribute its Seelow product, a laser sensor Feed Monitoring System. This partnership will allow APS to offer a cost-effective feed bin inventory solution to its customers. As a general contractor, APS will provide the product as an option on new and remodel building projects. Additionally, APS will offer the system via its parts and equipment division for self-installation and will serve as a US distributor for other industry resellers.
The Seelow System is a highly regarded, solar-powered, wireless, precision laser sensor system with special technology that provides real-time readings on feed inventory levels. The hub has the capacity of monitoring up to 255 sensors. The communication between each sensor can reach up to 2000 feet. The hub utilizes the internet to update inventory levels on the online platform and the mobile app. The system is a cost-effective alternative to add technology to existing bins with little modification. Plus, the patented dust protection mechanism allows for a clean laser and constant precision measurements.
Brian Stork, Executive Director of Operations for APS, says, “We are thrilled to be partnering with Agrimesh for the distribution of the Seelow system. APS is continually seeking new innovative products to help our producers save money and reduce risk. Seelow fits that bill, and we believe producers will be eager to learn more about this unique offering. A relatively low-cost facility upgrade, with less climbing ladders and real- time analytics, is something to check out. The ability of this product to retrofit existing facilities is amazing, and we see this as an excellent risk prevention measure for many existing facilities.”
“APS is an excellent partner, and this agreement exemplifies their dedication to providing ag producers with new product and facility designs for limitless possibilities. We are attracted to companies who share our vision of creating innovation in the livestock sector, and APS is that partner, says Erik Longtin, North America Sales Development Representative. We help ag producers maximize their profits and investments and see APS as a trusted partner going into the future.”
