MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Third Annual NW Minneosta Ag Lenders Conference, an educational agricultural lenders workshop, will be taught at Youngquist Auditorium at the University of Minnesota, Crookston Campus on August 15, 2018.
The speakers and topics will include: Rob Holcomb, University of Minnesota Extension, on the updated tax law and its implicatons to the agricultural industry; Joleen Hadrich, University of Minnesota, on the charateristics of successful farms; Adnan Akyuz, North Dakota State University Climateologist, on climate change and the opportunities and risks it poses to agricultural communities in the northern plains; Nathan J Hulinsky, University of Minnesota Extension, on land rent in NW Minnesota and farm profitability numbers of 2017.
This conference will help lenders develop a more in-depth understanding of the agriclutrual industry trends moving forward.
The conference in set for August 15, 2018 at the Youngquist Audtiorium on the University of Minnesota, Crookston campus. Doors open at 8:30 AM with the program starting at 9:00 AM. Registration fee is $65 per person before August 1, $80 per person after. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
