CENTENNIAL, Colo. — Thanks to all those who came out last week for the Ag-Issues Summit. Attendees had a great time touring local facilities and hearing from great speakers on issues important to CFB members. At the Summit, updates from staff included a recap of the 2017 Legislative Session and updates on current federal policy.
The Summit also marked the beginning of CFB’s policy development schedule and allowed for advisory committees to meet and discuss policy recommendations in preparation for this year’s annual meeting.
Other highlights included:
- Tours at the Parker Water Facility and dam, Sterling Ranch, Harmony Equine Ranch and Cherokee Ranch.
- Dinner (with a view) at Cherokee Ranch.
- Pancakes and bacon to raise money for the ColoradoAg PAC.
- Panels on topics including autonomous vehicles, healthcare and transportation.
Shoutout to Douglas County, El Paso County and Elbert County for hosting us and for all their help making this Ag-Issues Summit a success!
