CENTENNIAL, Colo. — It’s county fair season! All around the country, food is being fried and 4-H and FFA kids are getting ready to present their projects. It’s a fantastic time and a highlight of the summer for those in agriculture.
County fairs present a unique opportunity to talk about agriculture with our neighbors that live in town about what happens on the farm and where food comes from. CFB’s Ag-In-Motion trailer gets a lot of miles in during this time. It travels to county fairs around the state educating about agriculture and different parts of the food system.
Look out at your local fair for the trailer and be sure to take your photo with it! Tag us on social media and let us know you saw it. This is a great opportunity for county Farm Bureaus to work with local FFAs and 4-H clubs to do some agriculture education at their local fair.
