ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota Agricultural Education Leadership Council (MAELC) will be hosting six Agricultural Education Listening Sessions across Minnesota in October.
“These sessions will give Minnesotans the opportunity to provide input on the future of Agriculture, Food & Natural Resource Education across Minnesota,” said MAELC Executive Director, Sarah Dornink. “We encourage individuals with an interest in connecting Minnesota students’ education and training to the agriculture and food industry to participate.”

Meetings are free to attend and open to the public. Each will be held from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, with lunch provided. Sessions will focus on Agricultural Literacy, School-Based Agricultural Education/FFA, Post-Secondary Education, Teacher Preparation, and Farm Business Management.
